Bob Bishop began this business over 20 years ago. Bob’s been fortunate to be trusted by some of the most prestigious and successful advertising, marketing and digital media firms, along with leading corporations and CPG Brands, to help identify, recruit and hire top performing professionals. Bob enjoys the opportunity to be able to get to know his Clients’ business, then contribute to that business stability, growth or succession plan.

Bio of G. Robert Bishop, CPC.





In July of 2001 Bob founded, Bishop Partners, LLC and since that time has served as Managing Partner. Bishop Partners is an executive search firm specializing in modern marketing and digital media, working with Clients to help identify, recruit and hire premier digital media specialists and executives. Bob has earned the distinction of Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC).


 

Bob has an impressive track record in leading successful searches and building executive teams in diverse industries and functional specializations. In over twenty years in the executive search profession, he has successfully completed scores of recruiting engagements, nationally. His Clients range from entrepreneurial start-ups to iconic global brands and corporations. With a strong specialization in management and talent acquisition, Bob provides direct recruitment of C-level executives and directors for both privately held and publicly traded companies.


After graduating from Washington University, Bob was a commercial photographer for years. Bishop Photography, Inc. was considered an industry leader and innovator, servicing Fortune 500 CPG clients and the premier agencies and media channels of the day.

Bob was recruited out of his studio by a former employer to become Vice President and Director of Operations at Group360 Communications (now WeAreAlexander). He successfully served in that capacity and in new business development for five years, leading eight departments and more than 70 employees in a $12MM business.

Bob is and has always been an industry leader. In 1995 Bob served on the Board of the St. Louis Ad Club and again in 2004-2010, during which time he was Membership Chair for three years. He was appointed to the Board of the Regional Technology Education Council (RTEC), funded by the State of Missouri and served for three years. He was also a founding member of the Advisory Board of the Digital Arts and Technology Alliance, at St. Louis Community College, Meramec Valley Campus and served on that Board for over 10 years. Bob served on the Business Marketing Association Board from 2002-2005.

In 2006 Bob founded REBUS, an organization devoted to the education and career development of younger St. Louis advertising and marketing professionals. Bob served the Board of the Missouri & Kansas Search and Staffing Association from 2002-2010 as Marketing Chair. In January of 2008, Bob was invited to join the International Retained Search Associates (IRSA), an exclusive international association of retained recruiters who are all recognized as leaders in their areas of specialty.

Bob was a founding member of the St. Louis Chapter of ASMP (The American Society of Media Photographers) and continued to serve on its Board through 1998.

In 2009, Bob co-founded ready + willing, a non-profit association providing other local non-profits, the pro bono marketing expertise and support that they would otherwise be unable to receive.

In January, 2012 he was elected to the Board of the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum and is now also serving as Chair of the Induction Committee and Board Secretary.
